Khaberni - Majed Al-Ansari, the official spokesperson for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said on Tuesday that Qatar and Egypt delivered late on Monday President Donald Trump's plan to the Hamas negotiation delegation in Doha, confirming that the movement promised to study this plan "responsibly."

Al-Ansari added that a meeting will be held on Tuesday evening with the presence of the Turkish delegation "to push forward in the negotiations", expressing optimism about the plan "being comprehensive".

He mentioned that the Hamas negotiation delegation promised to study the American plan "and it is still early to respond", clarifying that the first step regarding the Gaza war termination plan is to reach consensus among all parties.

He pointed out that "Qatar has not delayed any effort in stopping the war and de-escalation, and continues to offer aid and efforts to the Palestinian people in Gaza to stop the war and continues doing so".

Al-Ansari added, "We highly appreciate the American commitment to ending the war in Gaza, and our goal is to end the war and end starvation in Gaza", noting that Qatari, Egyptian, and Turkish efforts to end the war are coordinated and collective.

He explained that Qatar "focused since day one of the aggression on Doha on the integrity of our lands and our sovereignty, and our primary focus is on preventing the attack from repeating".

Regarding the apology issued by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Al-Ansari said "our priority is the sovereignty of the State of Qatar and the safety of citizens and residents", indicating that Qatar "reserves its legal rights regarding the Israeli bombing of Doha, and our basis is the guarantees provided to prevent the repeat of the Israeli attack".

The American plan consists of 20 items to end the war in Gaza, and it still requires the approval of the concerned parties. The plan especially stipulates that the American president will head the committee that oversees the transitional phase in the sector, while the White House confirms that "no one will be forced to leave Gaza".
