Khaberni - The European Union's naval mission in the Red Sea (ESPIDES) said on Tuesday that the crew of the cargo ship (Minervagracht), flying the Dutch flag, were safely transferred to Djibouti after being subjected to a bomb attack that necessitated their rescue by helicopter on Monday.
ESPIDES and the company operating the ship reported that it is still afloat and being drifted by the waters in the Red Sea after the attack, which led to a fire onboard, prompting the rescue of its 19-member crew.
