Khaberni - The scene has become clear after I took enough time to follow the debate that grew bigger than its size and was amplified in the recruitment of Jordanian TV of one of the active youth on social media for a comedic drama, and this is not my topic.
The scene is now clear regarding the collective mindset of the audience.
Firstly, I am here not to defend the administrations, so it does not turn into an interpretation of hypocrisy and self-interest, and I am not seeking their approval because my experience and knowledge provided by those who introduced me to the audience and what I achieved is enough both practically and scientifically, praise be to God.
I am here in the position of a jealous lover defending Jordanian television against the injustice that befell it over many long years amidst bearing a great national responsibility and efforts that cannot be described here, and on the other hand, the limited budget and timid support compared to what is presented or required from it.
As for the aspect that reveals how the collective mindset works, once someone begins to criticize what is presented on the screen, very offensive comments pour in that are far from constructive criticism but are just criticism for the sake of criticism and to satisfy feelings of bitterness against an institution that was, still is, and will remain the mother of Jordanian media and its nurturer. It is an institution that has enough prestige, forgetting or ignoring the meaningful, balanced media message it provided based on respect for the customs, traditions, and norms we were raised on. Thus, Jordanian television has always been our guide in everything it presents with respectful content that respects every Jordanian home. The Jordanian screen, the mother, is the safe guest in our homes and our children.
It is the one that emerged and delivered many of the officials, ministers, and decision-makers you see, who were and still are rushing to appear on our dignified screen, and without the favor of Jordanian television on many of them, they would not have appeared on other local or Arab screens or reached where they are now. Unfortunately, we find among them those who criticize the screen now and rush to it at the same time. These are the ungrateful ones, and time will reveal their frailty.
As for the jealousy of our beloved Jordanian artists, we appreciate and accept this jealousy because they are an integral good part of us and consider Jordanian television their warm home, as evidenced by Mohammad Kamal's studio in what has been produced of dramas we are proud of, and at the same time, we are proud of them, and thus they have the right to the loving reproach.
As for what I followed from comments based on comparing Jordanian television with other local screens, this comparison is based on ignorance in comparing the private media sector with the government sector, and it is a comparison built on ignorance of the message, the goal, the content, and the presentation. What is presented on private screens or stations is financially supported as an investment and does not necessarily carry the national responsibility in delivering the message, and even the viewer who compares and criticizes cannot bear to see on the screen of Jordanian television what he watches on non-governmental stations and does not accept it.
Whether we like it or not, Jordanian television was and will remain one of the pillars of Jordanian national security and the bearer of the message of soft power in influencing the security of the Jordanian street and public opinion, and whoever offends it, offends the Jordanian national identity and the state institutions.
We accept constructive criticism and appreciate the jealousy of the lover who considers Jordanian television the respectable, dignified guest at his home, for it resembles us and is from us to us and is the homeland and its scent, and it is the dignity from which we derive our dignity.
Therefore, any offense in criticism or comments is an offense to the entire homeland.
What has been stirred up from the uproar took more than its size and was narrated and interpreted in a bleak narrative that makes us put forward your most prominent questions.
Who is behind that uproar???
In whose interest???
And against whom???
