Khaberni - Palestinian Vice President Hussein Al-Sheikh welcomed on Tuesday the efforts led by U.S. President Donald Trump to end the war in the Gaza Strip, expressing his confidence in Washington's ability to chart a path towards fair peace, and affirming the Palestinian Authority's commitment to work to ensure a comprehensive agreement that stops the fighting and restores stability. Al-Sheikh stated that the Palestinian leadership is engaged "in a constructive and positive manner" to support and implement the agreement, emphasizing the urgent need to intensify international efforts to stop the killing, destruction, and starvation in Gaza, and to adhere to the two-state solution as a reference for achieving lasting peace.
