Khaberni - On Monday, U.S. President Donald Trump released a 20-point plan to end the war in Gaza, which still requires the approval of the concerned parties and specifically stipulates his chairmanship of a committee overseeing the transitional phase in the sector.

The plan includes making Gaza a "de-radicalized and terror-free zone that poses no threat to its neighbors," and initiating a reconstruction process that serves its residents who have suffered enough.

Jordan's Role

The plan indicates that the United States will collaborate with Arab and international partners to form a "temporary International Stability Force" (ISF) that will be deployed immediately in Gaza.

This force will train and support trained Palestinian police forces, in consultation with Jordan and Egypt.

It will also cooperate to secure the borders and prevent the entry of weapons, facilitate the flow of goods for the reconstruction of Gaza, and establish a mechanism to avoid engagement.
