Khaberni - The National Charter raises a message of thanks and appreciation to His Majesty the King in appreciation of his efforts locally, regionally, and internationally in defending the nation's causes.
The National Charter Party organized an event to explain the general strategy of the party and to introduce it under the title "Who We Are," held at the Irbid Cultural Center, attended by party leaders and members from the northern governorates of Irbid, Mafraq, Jerash, and Ajloun, along with an audience interested in public affairs.
At the beginning of the event, Dr. Yaqoub Nasser Al-Din, President of the Central Council, raised a message of thanks and appreciation to His Majesty King Abdullah II, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, in appreciation of their efforts locally, regionally, and internationally in defending the nation's causes, at the forefront of which is the Palestinian issue.
Dr. Yaqoub Nasser Al-Din, Chairman of the Central Council of the party, confirmed that the strategy being implemented by the National Charter Party is an important milestone in the journey of party work, emphasizing that the party starts from a firm belief in the ability of Jordanians to create their future through enhancing values of belonging and establishing institutional work based on realistic studies and plans.
Nasser Al-Din called for the necessary cooperation between the state, parties, civil society institutions, Jordanian society members, and the private sector to move toward a stronger and more stable Jordan. He proposed seventeen initiatives for the parliamentary bloc, starting from the effective role of parties to work on them according to legislative and oversight channels in the House of Representatives.
The Acting Secretary-General of the party, Obeid Yassin, mentioned that the strategy represents a qualitative leap in the work of the party, due to its comprehensive goals and aspirations that touch various political, economic, and social sectors.
Yassin noted that the National Charter focuses on involving its members, especially women and youth, in decision-making, and enhancing effective political participation, affirming that this strategy reflects a sincere national commitment of the party's members, men and women, young and youths, embodying their belief in Jordan's ability to overcome challenges and turn them into opportunities.
Dr. Hazem Al-Nasour, the head of the party's judicial court, reviewed the role of the judicial court in establishing principles of justice and adherence to the internal laws and regulations of the party, affirming that the court represents a fundamental guarantee for the rule of law and the preservation of members' rights, enhancing transparency within party work.
In his speech, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Tarawneh, the head of the National Charter parliamentary bloc, talked about the role of the bloc within the House of Representatives, indicating that it works to exercise its legislative and oversight roles effectively, in line with the goals of the party and its national vision, contributing to supporting the democratic path and enhancing parliamentary oversight.
Al-Tarawneh noted that the National Charter parliamentary bloc grasped from the first day of its formation after last year's parliamentary elections in 2024, the message of His Majesty King Abdullah II aimed at achieving comprehensive political reform that fulfills His Majesty's ambitions and aspirations and the Jordanian people who expect much from the House of Representatives. He affirmed to adopt all the initiatives and recommendations directed from the party to the parliamentary bloc and interact with them for the public interest.
Hazem Rahahleh, head of the Media and Events Management Unit at the party, provided a detailed explanation of the strategy, its goals, programs, and initiatives, explaining the fieldwork mechanisms and implementation tools that translate the party’s vision into reality.
Rahahleh also reviewed the media vision and strategy of the party, emphasizing that interaction with the media forms a fundamental pillar in delivering the message of the National Charter Party to the audience and engaging with it.
During the event, an interactive discussion took place about the National Charter Party's strategy through questions and interventions from the audience about the strategy and its implementation programs, as well as about the judicial court and the National Charter parliamentary bloc, where the answers were provided during the dialogue by the party's leaders.
This event is part of a series of meetings organized by the party in various governorates of the kingdom, aimed at introducing its programs and initiatives, and field communication through field visits aligned with the strategy and its goals and programs.
