Khaberni - Saudi Arabia has broadened its focus on combating cybercrimes, as the Saudi National Cybersecurity Authority launched today the "Electronic Phishing Service". It enhances the cybersecurity awareness among national entities' personnel and reduces the risks associated with electronic phishing.
The service enables national entities to design and prepare internal awareness campaigns about electronic phishing, raising awareness of cyber risks related to electronic phishing. It also provides the ability to measure the impact of internal cybersecurity awareness efforts by these entities, and assess and monitor the readiness of targeted groups to detect electronic phishing tricks and methods.
In the same context, the service includes an introductory guide for national entities registered on the national cyber security services portal "Hasseen", along with explanatory videos on how to benefit from the service, and supportive templates for launching periodic awareness campaigns for their personnel; this contributes to improving the efficiency of government spending on cybersecurity, enhancing national cybersecurity, and bolstering the readiness of entities against emerging risks in cyberspace.
This comes within the digital services offered by the authority to national entities in the Kingdom through the national cybersecurity services portal "Hasseen". This was announced during the ceremony organized by the authority with the attendance of the Governor of the Authority, Engineer Majid bin Mohammed Al-Moreed, and the Governor of the Digital Government Authority, Engineer Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Suwaiyan.
The Electronic Phishing Service is part of the collaborative work with national entities to enhance cybersecurity awareness, and among the services offered by the Saudi National Cybersecurity Authority via the national cybersecurity services portal "Hasseen", developed by the authority's technical arm, the Saudi Information Technology Company "SITE", to enhance the mechanism for offering and managing cybersecurity services and protecting national infrastructure, aiming for a secure and dependable Saudi cyber space.
