Khaberni - 12 girls were injured following a minibus overturn accident on their way to work at a farm on the Khattatba road in the Monufia Governorate, Egypt, this Sunday morning, and all the injured were taken to Sadat Central Hospital for necessary medical care.
Brigadier Alaa El-Hajjar, the Security Director of Monufia, received a report from Colonel Nidal Al-Maghribi, the head of Sadat Police Station, announcing the occurrence of the accident, and immediately, security forces and ambulances moved to the site to conduct investigations and field examinations.
Dr. Amr Mostafa, the Deputy Minister of Health in Monufia Governorate, in statements to local media, confirmed that all the injured had been discharged from the hospital after receiving treatment, stating that the injuries were minor, ranging from abrasions to scattered bruises on the body.
He explained that the medical care was provided under the supervision of Dr. Alia Atef, the hospital director, and relevant medical teams, stating that all cases have recovered and left the hospital safely.
Medical reports indicated that the ages of the injured varied between 14 and 50 years, with no life-threatening or dangerous cases recorded, and a report was filed about the incident, notifying the public prosecutor’s office to start legal investigations according to the applicable procedures.
