Wissam Abu Ali apologizes to Al Ahly fans

Khaberni -The player Wissam Abu Ali appeared for the first time after the significant controversy about his next destination in recent times.

Egypt's Al Ahly club posted on X a video of the Palestinian player, in which he apologized to the fans of his club, the board of directors, and his teammates for his behavior in the recent past because of his desire to leave.

Wissam Abu Ali said in the video: "I apologize to Al Ahly fans, its president Mahmoud El Khatib, the club's management, players, and everyone who has a place in my heart for my actions."

He continued, "I only want the love of Al Ahly fans and the management. I have been under family pressure for a while and did things I do not endorse because I do not accept such actions from any other player."

He added, "Al Ahly club is great and grand, and my relationship with it from the very first day has been very fantastic. It is the club that made me grow in football and helped me receive professional offers and become a football star, and I played with it the best season and a half of my life."

He continued, "I bought a house here in Egypt and my family came to live with me here because of my love for Al Ahly and Egypt."

He went on, "I acted in a manner that does not befit an Al Ahly player, and I spent the best days of my life in Al Ahly, and the fans supported me during the period I was experiencing bad luck, and Al Ahly made me a star of the Palestinian national team."

He added, "Things quickly grew out of my control and I became unable to act and didn't know what to do, but I assure that anyone or any entity that spoke in my name against Al Ahly, I do not support them and I am not associated with them as I am a player at Al Ahly."

He continued, "I respect Al Ahly's management and am sure that they will understand my family circumstances, and whether the deal happens or not, I am very happy to be at Al Ahly and I appreciate that, and without Al Ahly, I would not have participated in the Club World Cup and presented myself to the entire world, as I adore Al Ahly and it's an honor for any player to play at Al Ahly which is the biggest club I have played for in my life."
