Khaberni -Tensions between Israel and France have escalated as Tel Aviv has filed a lawsuit for millions of dollars in damages against the French government and organizers of the "Le Bourget" air show in France.

This action follows an order from French President Emmanuel Macron during the air show held at the beginning of last month, which prohibited the display of Israeli weaponry. The organizers placed black curtains around the pavilion of the Israeli Ministry of Defense and Security Industries.

A senior official in the aerospace industry stated: "President Macron is trying to protect the French arms industry, but his decision was not a smart choice."

In turn, the General Director of Aerospace Industries, Boaz Levy, commented on the crisis and the event today, stating that the tension between France and Israel dates back many years to the days of building the "Kfir" aircraft, and the arms embargo after the Six-Day War.

Levy added: "The action taken by the French government has caused substantial damage. We shipped equipment by ships and planes, sent workers to the air show, set up a pavilion, and paid for participation in the show, all of which is minor damage compared to the deprivation of potential marketing opportunities."

The Director of Aerospace Industries, Boaz Levy, also confirmed that Israeli companies are coordinating with the legal procedures led by the Ministry of Defense, aiming to obtain compensation from the French government and the show organizers for the damages incurred by the Israeli companies.
