Khaberni - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Al-Safadi received a phone call from US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Thursday.
The two ministers discussed a number of bilateral issues, in addition to the serious escalation in the region, and the prospects for restoring security and stability.
Rubio condemned the Iranian attacks on the Kingdom and other Arab and Islamic brotherly nations.
Al-Safadi affirmed the importance of Jordanian-American relations and the ongoing efforts to develop them. Rubio appreciated the Kingdom's role in reinforcing security and stability in the region.
