Khaberni -The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate stated that a special investigative team from the relevant departments conducted an investigation into a video that was circulated yesterday, showing three juveniles insulting and vandalizing flags on a bridge in the capital.
The spokesperson confirmed that through the investigations, the identities of three juveniles (of Arab nationality) who participated in this disrespectful act were determined: two appeared in the video and the third was under the bridge collecting the flags allegedly to sell them afterwards. All were arrested and legal actions will be taken against them.
He emphasized that there will be no tolerance for such reprehensible behaviors from our society and the insult to any national symbols for any reason, and that the most severe measures will be taken to prosecute anyone who attempts to insult or undermine those national symbols.
