Khabarni - American magazine "Politico", quoting US officials, reported escalating tension between former US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu due to disagreements on how to handle the escalating crises in the Middle East.
The officials indicated that the tension is not related to the recent killing incident in Washington, considering it unlikely that this event would change the reality of the strained relations between the two sides.
However, the officials stressed that describing the current situation as a "breakdown" in relations is an "exaggeration," affirming that while disagreements exist, communications have not been completely severed.
Politico also conveyed Trump administration officials' frustration with the Israeli government's approach in dealing with Washington and Middle East issues, while a source close to the White House expressed discontent within the administration, noting that "the most difficult person to deal with is Netanyahu."
