Khaberni - Egyptian actor Karim Fahmy has settled the debate around the list of the highest-paid stars, confirming that actor Adel Imam is beyond any comparison, and revealed his position on the possibility of distancing himself from acting and turning to writing, while simultaneously denying any interference by his mother or his wife in his brother Ahmed Fahmy’s divorce from the actress Hana El Zahed.
Adel Imam out of the competition
Karim Fahmy said in television statements that Adel Imam would remain the highest paid if he decides to return to acting, regardless of the names of the stars currently on the scene, emphasizing that his artistic stature does not allow for comparison with others.
He mentioned, when discussing the stars who generate high box office revenues, Karim Abdel Aziz and Ahmed Ezz.
Writing as an alternative to acting
Karim Fahmy touched on the possibility of retiring from acting in the future, explaining that he might reach a stage where he feels he no longer has anything new to present in front of the camera, and then he might turn to working behind it.
He explained that writing is an essential part of the art industry for him, allowing him to continue his presence in the field through developing and implementing projects, instead of just acting.

Karim Fahmy categorically denied the rumors about his mother or his wife Dania El Banawi interfering in his brother Ahmed Fahmy's divorce from the actress Hana El Zahed, expressing surprise at the widespread discussion of these talks despite no statements from them on the matter.
He questioned the source of these claims which some treat as facts, and emphasized that Ahmed Fahmy makes his own decisions and has the capability to manage his life without others' interference.
