Khaberni - Xiaomi officially launched the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max in China, with leading specifications that include a privacy screen, large batteries, and two 200-megapixel cameras, alongside the latest "Qualcomm" Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processors.
One of the standout additions in the Xiaomi 18 Pro series is the "privacy screen" feature, which employs technology similar to a feature by the same name on the Galaxy S26 Ultra from "Samsung".
The feature is available in both the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max, and is supported by Xiaomi with greater software flexibility, as the front camera can detect people looking at the screen and automatically activate the privacy mode, according to a report reviewed by "Al Arabiya Business" from the specialized technology news site "9to5Google".
The feature can also be activated automatically based on location, so it operates when the user is in busy public places, without the need to manually turn it on.

The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processor, with RAM options of 12 or 16 gigabytes, and storage capacities of 256 gigabytes, 512 gigabytes, or 1 terabyte of the UFS 4.1 type.

Pricing for the Xiaomi 18 Pro series starts in China from 5999 Yuan, just under 900 dollars, and Xiaomi has not yet disclosed prices in global markets.
The company confirmed that both models will be launched outside China, unlike the Xiaomi 17 Pro, but it has not set an official date for the global launch.
