Khaberni - The President of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad Al-Alimi, announced the opening of «safe return to the side of the Republic and constitutional legitimacy», declaring that everyone who leaves the Houthi group and stops fighting with them will be covered by a general amnesty.
Al-Alimi stated that the Houthi group «has chosen the logic of force and weapons instead of dialogue and peace», calling on the Yemeni people for general mobilization, national rallying, and support for the armed forces.
He emphasized that the goal is «to reclaim state institutions and extend its sovereignty over the entire land up to Sanaa», appealing to the people in the areas under Houthi control not to thrust their children into war.
The President of the Presidential Leadership Council stressed that the authorities will take necessary measures to protect civilians, maintain civil peace, and uphold the supreme interests of Yemen, reaffirming commitment to the outcomes of the south-south dialogue that ensures a solution for the southern issue.
Al-Alimi also called on friends to support the government, the armed forces, and the Saudi-led coalition, while confirming that the door to return to the side of the Republic remains open for those who stop fighting with the Houthis.
