Khaberni - Israeli occupation forces penetrated, on Sunday, into the village of Ufania in the northern countryside of Quneitra, where the infiltrated Israeli force consisted of more than 5 tanks and about 20 military vehicles loaded with soldiers.
The Israeli forces also reached the outskirts of the village of Ain Al-Nooriya, and approached the area of Tel Al-Ahmar in the northern countryside of Quneitra.
This infiltration comes at a time when the occupation forces continue their attacks on southern Syria, and breach the 1974 disengagement agreement, having renewed their shelling around the town of Beit Jin in the countryside of Damascus on Saturday, and launched an artillery shell towards the village of Ain Al-Sha'ra, which fell on agricultural land, with no information about casualties reported.
Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Sheibani confirmed in his statements during the 166th session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level, that Syria adheres to the diplomatic solution and works to end the Israeli aggressions, detentions, and incursions.
In turn, the UN Commission of Inquiry on Syria expressed its deep concern regarding the Israeli violations, indicating that the continuation of these practices represents a violation of Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, describing the situation as unacceptable and that it must stop.
