Khaberni - Lebanese artist Madeleine Tabar revealed a number of personal and artistic details during her meeting with the media Soheir Gooda, speaking explicitly about marriage, divorce, her decision not to have children, alongside her relationship with spirituality and prominent milestones in her artistic journey.
Madeleine Tabar said that not having children was a personal choice she does not regret, emphasizing that a woman's value or the completeness of her life should not necessarily be linked to having children, and that every woman has the right to choose the life that suits her.
She added that she experienced motherhood differently through her sister’s children, noting that she was close to them and participated in their care and support during various stages of their lives.

Madeleine Tabar spoke about her sole experience with marriage, explaining that it lasted about seven years and began with a love story, before the relationship entered crises that eventually led her to decide to separate.
She noted that she tried to preserve her marriage and gave the relationship more than one chance, but said that her husband's multiple affairs made it difficult to continue life together, leading her to end the experience afterwards.
Madeleine Tabar: I prayed in a mosque in Morocco
In a spiritual aspect of the meeting, the Lebanese artist clarified that she is Christian and adheres to prayer and reading Psalms, but at the same time views faith from a broad human perspective and respects various forms of worship.
She revealed an interesting incident that occurred while she was in Morocco, saying that she could not find a nearby church, so she went to a mosque to pray, emphasizing that her goal was to feel tranquility and draw closer to God.
She also talked about filming scenes inside cemeteries, explaining that she recited verses from the Qur'an she knew and prayed for the deceased while there.
From journalism to acting
About her professional start, Madeleine Tabar said she worked in journalism before becoming a professional actress, and that the late artist Nour El-Sherif played a significant role in encouraging her to enter the world of art and come to Egypt.
She added that her participation in the film “The Road to Eilat,” after director Inaam Mohammed Ali chose her to embody the character of Maryam, was one of the most prominent stations that helped spread her fame Arab-wide.

Madeleine Tabar touched on previous controversial statements regarding the artist Adel Imam, confirming her retraction and considering her past haste as unintended, and emphasizing her full respect for the 'leader,' his family, and their privacy.
She also recalled her memories with the late actress Faten Hamama, saying she felt awe before working with her, but was surprised by her simplicity and quiet manner in dealing with the team.
