Khaberni - The Barcelona team achieved a significant victory over Rayo Vallecano with a score of 5-2, today Monday, in the third round of the Spanish league.
Rayo Vallecano had initially put significant pressure on Barcelona after Sergio Camillo scored the first goal for the visitors at the 12th minute.
Barcelona quickly responded to Rayo Vallecano, with Lamine Yamal and Raphinha scoring in the 19th and 21st minutes respectively.
Antony Gordon caused the third goal for Barcelona at minute 51, after sending a ground cross into the penalty area. Rayo Vallecano's Legon tried to clear it but accidentally deflected it into his own net.
Sergio Camillo narrowed the gap for Rayo Vallecano in the 59th minute, through a corner from the right which Camillo met with a superb header into the net of Juan Garcia.
Raphinha returned to shine in the 71st minute after exploiting the brilliant heel pass he received from Gordon and converted it into a ground shot inside the net.
The fifth goal came in the 90th minute by Lamine Yamal, who received a pass from Karim Adeyemi outside the penalty area and made a precise ground shot that ended up in the net.
The match witnessed the first participation of the Egyptian striker Hamza Abdel Karim with Barcelona in La Liga, after he came on at the 85th minute replacing Raphinha.
Barcelona now shares the top spot in La Liga with Real Madrid, both having 9 points, but Barca leads by a goal difference.
