Rainy Night and Unstable Conditions Meteorology Reveals the Timing of Rain and the Affected Areas in Jordan

Khaberni - Assistant meteorologist from the Meteorological Administration, Musa'ad Al-Nadaf, stated on Saturday that there are no indications of any heavy rainfall yet amid the unstable weather conditions that will affect Jordan on Saturday night and Sunday morning.

Al-Nadaf, in statements to "Al-Mamlaka" channel, added that the rainfalls will be concentrated in the governorates of Ajloun, Irbid, Ramtha, the northern Ghors, parts of the central Ghors, the city of Al-Salt, and the western parts of the capital, Amman.

He pointed out that the unstable weather conditions will be accompanied by westerly winds, which will activate intermittently and raise dust in the eastern parts of the Kingdom, such as the Safawi, Azraq, Ruwaished areas, the eastern parts of Amman, and the desert road.

He warned of reduced horizontal visibility due to dust, especially in the desert areas, and of fog in the high mountainous areas, as well as of potential slipping on the roads during rainfall.

He noted that the unstable weather condition is quick and will not last long, explaining that with the afternoon hours of Sunday, the weather will gradually stabilize and remain stable on Monday.

During the Saturday night hours, the Kingdom will be affected by a weak instability condition, and cloud amounts will increase at various altitudes, with the weather being cool in the mountainous areas and moderate in other regions, with the possibility of light rain showers in the north of the Kingdom during the late night hours.

According to the Meteorological Administration report, on Sunday, another drop in temperatures occurs, and the weather will be partly cloudy and moderate in most regions, relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with a chance in the morning hours for light rain showers in the north of the Kingdom, and parts of the western central regions that may occasionally include thunder in the north of the Kingdom, and the winds will be westerly moderate in speed, activating occasionally and raising dust sometimes especially in the desert areas.

As for Monday, there will be a slight rise in temperatures, and the weather will be moderately warm in most regions, relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with some clouds appearing at low altitudes in the north of the Kingdom, and the winds will be northwesterly moderate in speed, activating occasionally.
