Khaberni - The media personality Bassem Youssef posted a video on his personal "Instagram" account, in which he defended the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah after the criticisms he faced following his departure from Liverpool and his move to Trabzonspor.
During the video, Bassem Youssef criticized those who demand Salah to continue playing under the pressure of competing with major European clubs despite what he has achieved in his career in terms of records and achievements.
Bassem Youssef said: "Why do you want Mohamed Salah to remain under the pressure of playing with big clubs and the continuous pressure to win?".
He added: "There is a lot of speculation about Salah, and people claiming he buried himself, but such talk is inappropriate".
He explained: "Salah has reached 34 years old, has won all the titles, and has achieved all records, so why insist on him grinding and breaking his foot?"
He continued: "People speculating on Salah, the Egyptian player has a life, and he was offered a large sum for a significant journey; why do you want him to grind for your amusement?"
