Khaberni - The Meteorological Administration stated that the Kingdom is affected from Thursday by a hot air mass coming from the Arabian Peninsula, which leads to an increase in temperature, with the impact increasing on Friday to record temperatures about 4–5 degrees Celsius higher than the usual climatic averages for this time of the year.
The Administration explained that the weather on Thursday will be relatively hot in most areas, very hot in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, where the maximum temperature in the capital, Amman, will be about 36 degrees Celsius, and in Aqaba 41 degrees Celsius.
The impact of the hot weather will increase on Friday, which is expected to witness the peak of the rise in temperatures, where the weather will be hot in most areas and very hot in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, and the high in Amman will reach about 37 degrees Celsius, and in Aqaba 42 degrees Celsius.
According to the Meteorological Administration, a drop in temperatures will occur on Saturday, making the weather summer-mild in the mountainous highlands, while remaining hot in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, and the high in Amman will be about 34 degrees Celsius, and in Aqaba 41 degrees Celsius.
On Sunday, the weather will remain summer-mild in the mountainous highlands and hot in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with maximum temperatures around 34 degrees Celsius in Amman and 41 degrees Celsius in Aqaba.
The Meteorological Administration calls on citizens to follow the bulletins and updates issued by it, and to adhere to the guidelines, especially during peak hours and in areas that experience high temperatures.
