Khaberni - The area of Al-Qweismeh in the Jordanian capital, Amman, witnessed a violent assault on a car mechanic shop owner early Wednesday morning, following his request to a group of individuals to pay for the repair of their vehicle after finishing the work.
The individuals had left their vehicle at the mechanic’s shop for repairs, but after the work was done, they refused to pay the fees, before the disputes later escalated to a serious assault.
In the early hours, three individuals chased the shop owner, attempted to run him over, and tried to run over his children as well, before the attackers used an electric chainsaw intended for cutting trees, resulting in the mechanic sustaining a severe injury in his leg, which severed the tendons.
After the security forces were informed of the incident, they immediately responded and succeeded in arresting the three individuals, while an investigation was opened into the incident to determine the details and circumstances and to take legal action against the perpetrators.
