The events revolve around the prosecutor Ko Eun Sae, who suffers an accident while investigating a case linked to a powerful criminal organization, only to wake up afterwards in a rural village with no memories of her identity, her work, or her previous life.
Eun Sae finds herself facing Jang Tae Ha, a former boxer who works as a coach, who tells her that he is her boyfriend, in an attempt to keep her away from the dangers surrounding her.
But things are not that simple, as Tae Ha also hides secrets linked to his past, having been involved with the underworld before trying to move away from it and start a new life.
With Eun Sae's return to his life, Tae Ha finds himself compelled to confront his past anew, especially with the continued danger chasing her and her continuous attempts to regain her memory.
Tae Ha decides to protect Eun Sae by creating a story about their relationship, but the lie that began as a means of protection gradually turns into a relationship carrying real feelings.
The events combine comedic situations and romantic moments, concurrently with the escalation of the mystery surrounding the past and the reality of the relationship that unites the two characters.
