Trump Announces New Talks with Iran Starting Monday

Khaberni– U.S. President Donald Trump said there is an agreement regarding the Strait of Hormuz and there will be an agreement on the Iranian nuclear program.

Trump added, "We are talking with them regarding the nature of negotiations and will start tomorrow evening," indicating that the United States is ready to proceed at any desired time.

He confirmed that the United States was ready to strike Iran and that the strikes would have continued and a massive attack would have been launched, adding "It was supposed to be a massive attack on Iran and the largest since World War II."

Trump had announced that the United States and Israel agreed to suspend the planned strikes on Iran, at the request of Tehran and other regional countries, affirming that the suspension of the strikes is contingent upon reaching a swift agreement.

He wrote in a post on "Truth Social" platform that the United States is "in a state of readiness and prepared to act" against Iran, with levels of military power "not seen since World War II."

Trump added that the request to delay the attack came after agreeing on a framework for an agreement that includes "immediate, full, and comprehensive opening of the Strait of Hormuz" and ending what he described as "the Iranian nuclear threat."

He affirmed that his approval to cancel the attack came "for the sake of global interest in the future, and also for the prosperity and success of a thriving Iran," emphasizing that the cancellation of the attack remains conditional on the ability to quickly reach an agreement.

He pointed out that Israel joins the United States in this commitment, calling for acceleration in finalizing the agreement.
