Salah sets a strict condition threatening his transfer negotiations to Beşiktaş

Khaberni   - Egyptian national team captain Mohamed Salah has set a strict condition that threatens his transfer negotiations to Beşiktaş, a Turkish club in the soccer season (2026-2027), after leaving Liverpool.

Mohamed Salah, aged 34, has been linked with several Saudi, American, and Turkish clubs to determine his next destination.

Last season, the Saudi Public Investment Fund showed significant interest in signing Salah, ready to offer a substantial financial deal to persuade him to move to one of the major clubs in the "Roshen" league during the current summer transfer period.

According to Turkish journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, Mohamed Salah prefers to transfer to Beşiktaş, but he demands an annual salary of 15 million euros, which presents a significant obstacle for the Turkish club and complicates completing the deal.

Sabuncuoğlu added that Salah's agent has been in Istanbul for several days, where he spoke with the management of Beşiktaş in an attempt to reach an agreement, though the high financial demands still pose the biggest challenge in finalizing the deal.

The Turkish journalist pointed out that Salah's agent's visit to Istanbul also coincides with the presence of attractive Saudi offers, confirming that the player and his agents are considering all available options before making the final decision.

Sabuncuoğlu concluded his statements by confirming that if Mohamed Salah does not receive a suitable offer from Turkish clubs in the upcoming period, the Saudi league would be the likely destination for the Egyptian star, given the significant financial strength of its clubs and their ability to meet his demands.

It is noted that Mohamed Salah is currently without a team, and he participated with his national team in the FIFA World Cup 2026, leading them to the Round of 16 in an unprecedented historical achievement.
