According to the findings published by the fact-checking service of «Agence France-Presse», the video is unrelated to the series «The Simpsons», and was produced using artificial intelligence technologies to mimic the style of the famous animation.
The verification process revealed that the clip was originally published on a «TikTok» account dedicated to creating fictional clips predicting the results of World Cup matches, before the account was later deleted.
The video review revealed several indicators confirming that it is not an original scene from the series, including a small phrase inside the clip indicating that the content is «generated by artificial intelligence», along with noticeable visual errors in the characters' features, writings, and flags inside the stands, which are among the common signs in AI-generated clips.
