Libyan artist Noor Al-Kadiki filed a report against an assistant director, accusing him of detaining her in his house in the Sixth of October City, assaulting her with threats, and filming her without permission.
She also accused him, according to the report, of stealing her gold jewelry and personal belongings.
The artist stated, as mentioned in the report, that the incident began after she went to the accused's house, before turning into a dispute that ended - according to her story - with her being detained inside the place, filmed, and her gold jewelry stolen, which led her to file an official report and take the necessary legal actions.
Al-Kadiki wrote on her Instagram account: "I never imagined that I would leave my house for a job opportunity, and return carrying all this fear... Everything started with a message and a job offer that seemed normal, but what I experienced after that was a real nightmare."
She added: "I went trusting that I was going for a professional meeting, but I was surprised - as I reported to the authorities - by attempts to detain and threaten me inside the place, in moments when I felt I might never leave again.. I resisted with all my might, cried for help from those around me, and were it not for the intervention of neighbors, workers, and security men, by God’s grace, I would not be writing these words today."
She added: "My phone and car were taken, but what mattered to me at that moment was to save my life.. I have taken all legal measures, and I trust in justice to take its course, and I will not talk in more details out of respect for the ongoing investigations."
