Cooperation Agreement between Amman AlAhliya and the Jordanian Association of Laboratories and Medical Analysis

Khaberni  - As part of enhancing the partnership between academic and professional institutions, Amman Al-Ahliya University / College of Medical and Health Sciences – Department of Medical Laboratories and Professions and the Jordanian Association of Laboratories and Medical Analysis have signed a joint cooperation agreement, which aims to support and develop the medical laboratory sector and associated medical professions, and enhance cooperation in scientific, training, and research fields, contributing to the service of the health sector and the advancement of national competencies.

Representing Amman Al-Ahliya University at the signing of the agreement were Professor Dr. Ghalib Ereiqat, Dean of the College of Medical and Health Sciences, and Dr. Tareq Ramadan, Head of the Department of Medical Laboratories, while Dr. Inaam Subaihat, President of the Jordanian Association of Laboratories and Medical Analysis, and Dr. Ahmad Maharmeh represented the association, attended by several faculty members at the university.

The agreement aims to enhance cooperation in the fields of education, training, professional development, and scientific research, implementing joint programs and activities, providing quality training and qualification opportunities for students specializing in medical laboratories and associated medical professions, in addition to offering advantages and services to the association's members, contributing to the preparation of qualified cadres capable of keeping up with scientific developments and market needs.

Both parties confirmed that this agreement represents a strategic step towards unifying efforts between the academic and professional sectors, serving the students of associated medical professions and the association's members, and contributing to the development of the medical laboratory sector and improving the quality of services provided in it.

This agreement comes as part of a series of strategic partnerships that the Jordanian Association of Laboratories and Medical Analysis is engaging with major universities and national institutions in the Kingdom, stemming from its vision to build sustainable cooperation that positively reflects on its members, students, and graduates, and contributes to the development of the profession and enhancing the status of the medical laboratories and associated medical professions sector, serving the health sector's journey in Jordan.
