Khaberni - Graduates of the oral and dental health field complained about the continuous lack of clarity in the procedures related to practicing the profession.
In a message received by Khaberni, they stated that despite a full year passing since graduation and the completion of all academic requirements, the procedures related to practicing the profession remain unclear, which has deprived them of work opportunities both in Jordan and abroad.
They explained that this delay has caused a disruption in the professional lives of the graduates, and has prevented them from applying for many job opportunities inside and outside the Kingdom, where most employers require a professional practice license as a fundamental requirement for employment.
They noted that some graduates are treated according to the old system and are allowed to obtain their practice licenses, while others are not given the opportunity despite having equal qualifications and circumstances, creating a feeling of injustice and lack of equal opportunities among peers in the same field.
They considered that the continuation of this situation negatively affects the professional future of the graduates and leads to the loss of job and professional development opportunities that are hard to compensate for, especially after investing years in education and training in this field.
The graduates demanded fairness, clear and official clarification of the procedures, and a just and quick solution that ensures all graduates' rights to practice their profession without delay or discrimination.
