Before the arrival of One UI 90 The complete list of Samsung devices outside the update

Khaberni - Samsung phone users eagerly await the rollout of the One UI 9.0 interface, based on Android 17 system, especially after Google has launched the stable version of the system for Pixel phones.

While the Korean company is preparing to send the update to a large number of its devices in the coming period, some phones and tablets will miss out on this round’s beneficiary list after their software support lifecycle has ended.

According to a report published by PhoneArena, several flagship and mid-range Samsung phones will not be eligible to receive One UI 9.0, after exhausting the number of operating system updates the company committed to providing at the launch of those devices.

The list of flagship phones and devices not eligible for the new update includes:

Galaxy S22.
Galaxy S22+.
Galaxy S22 Ultra.
Galaxy S21 FE.
Galaxy Z Fold 4.
Galaxy Z Flip 4.
Galaxy Tab S8.
Galaxy Tab S8+.
Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.

Reason for the absence of Galaxy S21 from the list
And the PhoneArena report noted that the list only includes devices that received One UI 8.0 but will not get One UI 9.0, therefore the Galaxy S21 series was not included, as it had already exited the major update cycle before the release of One UI 8.0.

Release date of One UI 9.0 update
According to expectations, Samsung will begin rolling out the stable version of the One UI 9 interface first to the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8, expected to be unveiled in July.

The company has already launched the first beta version of the interface for the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra in a limited number of markets.

It is expected that the update will gradually extend to the rest of the Galaxy flagship and mid-range phones after the launch of the foldable phones, with the arrival time varying according to the device model and geographical region.
