The Social Committee at Petra College of Media bids farewell to Dr Rasha AlAhmad in a ceremony of loyalty and a new station

Khaberni - The Faculty of Media at Petra University witnessed a honoring ceremony that included a lunch attended by members of the academic and administrative bodies, in honor of Dr. Rasha Al-Ahmad, who has turned a page of an extraordinary academic and professional career stretching from 2010 to 2026 before she closes this chapter and moves towards a new horizon fitting the experiences and achievements she has accumulated.
The meeting was not just a passing occasion but was a station of true loyalty to a name that has been linked for sixteen years to everything exceptional in the Faculty of Media, as Dr. Al-Ahmad was not just a lecturer moving between theoretical and practical courses but was a profound academic presence, impactful yet approachable, who contributed to shaping the awareness of generations of students and blended scientific rigor with practical application, and supervised media projects and activities that produced graduates capable of competing confidently in the job market and significantly contributed in networking the college with civil society institutions, major governmental departments, and the media environment in all its forms.
In the attendees' speeches, one meaning was repeated in various formulations: Dr. Al-Ahmad's departure from the college, whatever its implications, represents an irreplaceable loss that honor alone cannot compensate for, and her name will remain a standard for scientific competence and professional commitment in an era where this standard is rare.
The attendees also mentioned her dignified human relationships with students and colleagues, which made her a subject of respect undisputed by anyone.
At the end of the ceremony, the attendees expressed their best wishes for Dr. Rasha Al-Ahmad in her upcoming station, affirming that her transition is a natural extension of a career deserving broader recognition and that what she has contributed to the Faculty of Media will remain a distinguishing mark that is not easily repeated.
