Khaberni - The Jerusalem Post said that the latest meeting held by the Israeli Army Chief of Staff and the commander of the United States Central Command -which has not yet been announced- primarily focused on Iran.
It added that the commander of the United States Central Command was also expected to visit the northern region but had to cancel his visit due to escalating fighting between the United States and Iran around the Strait of Hormuz.
The newspaper mentioned that the Israeli Army Chief of Staff, along with the head of the Strategic Planning Department, were intensively involved in the meetings and negotiations with the commander of the Central Command.
