Khaberni - Arlington Mayor in Texas, Jim Ross, expressed his pleasure at meeting His Majesty King Abdullah II during his visit to Arlington for the 2026 World Cup Finals.
Ross wrote on Facebook, "It was an honor to welcome a global leader to our city, where fans from all around the world have gathered here for tonight's match between Jordan and Argentina. Such moments remind us that Arlington is truly on the global stage, bringing people together through sports, friendship, and shared experiences."
His Majesty the King met with Arlington Mayor Jim Ross in Texas.
The meeting discussed the strategic partnership between Jordan and the United States and the importance of expanding cooperation in various fields.
The national team finished its technical and physical preparations, ready for its match against Argentina at 5 AM Jordan time on Sunday at the Dallas Stadium in the United States, concluding its journey in the 2026 World Cup finals.
The team conducted its last training session on Friday at Southern Methodist University, led by coach Jamal Salami, with all players participating, amid media presence and coverage.
