Guidelines Recommended by Experts in the Event of Earthquakes

Khaberni - As Venezuela races against time to rescue those trapped under the rubble, several other parts of the globe are experiencing earthquakes and tremors, some causing weak effects and others no notable impact. The Venezuelan earthquake remains the most impactful in terms of the number of victims and destruction.

Today, Saturday, Venezuelans and rescue teams hurry to search for survivors as the death toll from the successive earthquakes rises to over 920, with thousands injured, while foreign rescue teams and aid have begun to reach the affected areas two days after the earthquakes that destroyed parts of Caracas and surrounding areas on Wednesday evening. Reports indicate that more than 50,000 are missing.

The Venezuela catastrophe reminds us of the devastating earthquake that struck Turkey in February 2023, leading to the death of more than 50,000 people in Turkey and Syria.
