Khaberni - Preliminary investigations revealed new details in the arrest incident of the festival performer, Magdy Shata, in Egypt, after the security forces arrested him.
The preliminary investigations indicated that the security forces found Magdy Shata in possession of 10 bags of the drug Ice, weighing a total of about 6 grams, in addition to 480 Egyptian pounds in cash, along with two mobile phones, one of which is an "iPhone" and the other operates on "Android" system, and all seized items were taken into custody.

The festival performer was caught during a security campaign that targeted the El-Marg area, where the security forces arrested him on suspicion of involvement in trafficking the Ice drug, before leading him to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal actions.

Magdy Shata is an Egyptian popular festival performer from the Matariya area, who became famous in 2018 after his conflict with the festival singer Hamo Bika, and before his fame, he worked as a "tuk-tuk" driver. He achieved wide fame through social media platforms and YouTube due to his statements and problems with other festival singers.
According to local media, Magdy Shata has 268,000 followers on his YouTube page, and he has several songs that have achieved millions of views, including the song "A Dark Room and Iron Door" which exceeded 3 million views, and the festival "My Friends I Can't Appreciate" which exceeded 2 million views.
