Khaberni - Lebanese Yumna Khoury ignited controversy after she sharply criticized a famous bride, accusing her of copying the details of her wedding ceremony.
Yumna's statements came after the circulation of images and clips from the wedding of Ragda Al-Maghribi to Mohamed Khaled Al-Asal, which was held at the famous "Villa Erba" overlooking Lake Como in Italy, the same venue where Yumna celebrated her own wedding to Turkish businessman Gurhan Kiziloz.
Yumna felt that the similarities were not restricted to the venue alone, but extended to a large number of details, including the decorations, floral arrangements, the way the bridal couple entered, and even the accompanying entertainment shows.

Yumna expressed her astonishment at these similarities in a video she posted on her Snapchat account, stressing that many of the essential elements of the ceremony were identical to her wedding, considering that the matter exceeded the limits of coincidence or inspiration.
She also pointed out that the bride used the same team specialized in photographing luxurious wedding ceremonies, in addition to employing the famous Italian decor designer Vincenzo Dascanio, who had previously overseen the details of her wedding, alongside the same company responsible for organizing the artistic and entertainment shows.
Yumna’s statements elicited a large interaction among the audience, where opinions were divided between those supporting her stance, believing that the extent of the similarities justified her criticisms, and those who considered that hosting wedding ceremonies in famous global venues is common among celebrities and the wealthy, and cannot be considered as direct copying.
A number of followers affirmed that "Villa Erba" is one of Europe's most famous destinations for hosting luxurious weddings and international fashion shows, making some detail similarities natural and expected.

In the midst of the controversy, some users recalled a previous incident related to Syrian influencer Sherine Beauty, pointing out that she chose the same location for a special occasion with her fiancé, content creator Osama Marwah, some time ago, considering that Yumna herself was not the first to celebrate at this place.
