Khaberni - The national program for economic education and awareness "Your Financial Compass," implemented by the Al-Dustour Center for Economic Studies with support from CFI Jordan, in partnership with national media outlets, continues its meetings in the provinces of the kingdom, where the All Jordan Youth Commission in As-Salt province hosted an awareness session as part of the series of activities organized by the program aimed at enhancing the financial and economic culture among various segments of society.
The session saw the participation of a number of youths and representatives of the local community, where Awni Al-Dawood, the director of the Al-Dustour Center for Economic Studies and the executive director of the program, discussed topics related to personal financial management, financial planning, investment principles, and the fundamentals of dealing with financial risks. He also reviewed a series of practices that support the financial stability of individuals, including preparing personal financial plans, building an emergency fund, diversifying investments, in addition to the importance of continuous learning and developing financial knowledge.
Al-Dawood emphasized that "Your Financial Compass" represents a national initiative that seeks to spread economic knowledge and enhance financial culture in various provinces of the kingdom, with a special focus on youth and women. He added that the program, which was developed with the participation of a group of economic experts, aims to simplify economic and investment concepts and transform them into practical tools that help individuals manage their finances and deal with economic changes more consciously.
Al-Dawood also pointed out that the program launched in Ajloun province and continues its meetings in various provinces in cooperation with educational and community institutions and youth and women's sectors, contributing to expanding the range of economic knowledge and reaching a broader segment of beneficiaries.
In turn, Mohannad Al-Wakeed, the coordinator of the All Jordan Youth Commission in As-Salt, welcomed hosting the program, affirming that its goals align with the commission's mission in empowering youth and expanding their knowledge on economic and developmental issues and enhancing their active participation in society.
The program "Your Financial Compass" continues its meetings and sessions in various provinces of the kingdom with support from CFI Jordan, and with the participation of a group of experts and specialists, within efforts aimed at enhancing financial and economic culture and establishing the necessary awareness to make more conscious and responsible financial decisions.
