Khaberni - The Land Transport Regulatory Authority announced on Thursday the expansion of regular public transport services between Karak Governorate and Hussein Medical City, starting from Sunday, June 28. The Authority urged passengers to take advantage of the designated routes for this line, which will operate regularly from Saturday to Thursday every week.
The new expansion includes providing medium buses with a seating capacity of 23 passengers per bus, where two buses have been allocated to depart from the new Karak complex, in addition to another bus departing from the Al-Qasr triangle route, aiming to meet citizens' needs and provide direct and safe trips to the Medical City.
This service is part of the regular transportation project, which started a year ago and was originally equipped with intelligent transportation systems (electronic payment, monitoring).
The first route starts with two buses from the new Karak complex passing through Qatraneh, Suwaqa, Nahda roundabout, the Eighth roundabout, and the People's roundabout, reaching the north gate of Hussein Medical City. This route has two trips starting at 6:15 AM and continuing until 12:00 PM, while the second trip starts at 7:15 AM and continues until 2:00 PM, with a fixed fare of (2.30) Jordanian dinars per passenger.
In contrast, the second route covers other vital stations, departing from the Al-Qasr triangle at 5:15 AM, passing through the Rabba triangle at 5:30 AM, then crossing Lajoun road and the Desert Highway, reaching Nahda roundabout and the Eighth roundabout, and finally arriving at the Medical City. The return trip for this route starts at 1:00 PM, with a fixed fare of (2.10) Jordanian dinars per passenger.
