Khaberni - A campaign carried out by the Water Authority and Jordan Water Company - Miyahuna, and the Zarqa Water Management on Wednesday 6/24/2026, as a continuation of the ongoing efforts to monitor and protect water sources and reduce water losses, in cooperation with the General Security Directorate, resulted in the detection of major violations regarding three main lines that infringe the water rights of citizens by drawing illegal household connections supplying 100 homes not included in the water services unlawfully.
The violations were disconnected and records were prepared regarding the incident to estimate the amounts of water drawn, impose fines on the violators, and pursue legal actions against the offenders. There is an appeal to everyone not to take reporting any violations or transgressions lightly as it is critical for the management of water resources and ensuring continuous supply to the citizens.
