Khaberni - The Minister of Education, Azmi Mahafzah, reassured the progress of the General Secondary Education Certificate exam on its first day, during his inspection of the exam's operations room at the General Examinations Administration.
During the visit, which was accompanied by the Ministry's Secretary-General for Educational Affairs, Nawaf Al-Ajarmah, Mahafzah expressed his satisfaction with the procedures followed to ensure that students can take the exam smoothly and comfortably, in an appropriate environment.
He listened to a presentation about the workflow in the operations room, stressing the need for a quick response to the incoming comments and their immediate follow-up, and transparently answering questions from citizens and students concerning the exam and its procedures.
He praised the efforts of those in charge at the operations room and the supporting staff at the ministry's center, educational directorates, as well as the department heads, supervisors, and markers, noting that they work in coordination with the relevant bodies to ensure the exam is conducted according to the planned schedule.
The ministry monitors the exam proceedings through the operations room, receives comments and inquiries from students and the local community, and takes necessary action regarding them.
On its first day, the exam was attended by 126,679 candidates, distributed across academic and vocational branches.
