Khaberni - The Greater Amman Municipality began on Thursday, implementing milling and paving works for a number of residential neighborhoods and main streets in the area of Shafa Badran according to the attached plan, continuing the comprehensive paving campaign to rehabilitate streets and develop infrastructure in the capital.
The Executive Director of Roads at the Municipality, Suleiman Al-Shammari, stated that the works include Shafa Badran Street, Refaat Shammut Street, and Al-A'raf Street within Al-Marooj neighborhood and Yajouz neighborhood, aiming to enhance the efficiency of the road network in the neighborhoods and facilitate traffic movement.
He added that the paving implementation plan will be coordinated with the Traffic Management, to organize traffic flow and prepare the necessary diversions at the sites, ensuring the smooth movement of traffic and the safety of road users.
The Municipality urged citizens not to park their vehicles in the streets covered by the paving during the work period, to avoid obstructing the movement of heavy machinery or exposing vehicles to any damages and to comply with general safety instructions, abide by traffic diversions, and follow directional signs to ensure their safety and the uninterrupted progress of work.
The Municipality had completed milling and paving works for a number of residential neighborhoods and main streets in the areas of Wadi Al-Seer, Al-Qweismeh, Basman, Khreibet Al-Souq, and Tariq.
