Khaberni - The Eastern Military Zone has thwarted an attempt early this Thursday on its front and within its area of responsibility to smuggle a quantity of drugs, electronically guided via balloons, which were detected by border guard units and dealt with by shooting them down along with their load inside Jordanian territory, in coordination with the security services and the Anti-Narcotics Department, and the seized items were transferred to the competent authorities for necessary proceedings.
