Khaberni - Today, Britain recorded the highest temperature in its history for June, reaching 35.7 degrees Celsius in South England.
The British Meteorological Authority stated that the temperature was registered in Charlwood, Surrey County, near Gatwick Airport, with Britain experiencing a second consecutive month of record heat.
It is noted that since the beginning of the official records in 1884, the previous record was 35.6 degrees Celsius, registered in 1957 and then repeated later in 1976.
As for the highest temperature ever recorded in Britain, it was in July 2022 and reached 40.3 degrees Celsius.
