Khaberni - On behalf of His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, the Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court, Yousef Hassan Al-Issawi, extended condolences to the family of Demasi on Wednesday, on the demise of the young Za'id Yousef Demasi, who died following a stampede incident that occurred in the vicinity of the Roman Theater in Amman.
During his visit to the bereaved's mourning house in the Russeifa district of Zarqa Governorate, Al-Issawi conveyed the condolences and sympathies of His Majesty the King and His Highness the Crown Prince to the family and relatives of the deceased, praying to God Almighty to bestow His vast mercy upon the deceased, and to grant his family and relatives the beauty of patience and the comfort of consolation.
In the same context, Al-Issawi, today, Wednesday, visited the injured Abdul Rahman Jamal Miqdad Tarish, who is lying in a hospital bed at Al-Bashir Hospital due to a leg injury suffered in the Roman Theater incident.
During the visit, in the presence of the young Abd al-Rahman’s father and mother, Al-Issawi conveyed the wishes of His Majesty the King and His Highness the Crown Prince for a speedy recovery.
During the visit, Al-Issawi listened to a briefing from the medical team supervising the case, attended by the Director of Al-Bashir Hospitals management Dr. Atef Al-Namoura, where the supervising doctor, Head of Orthopedics Department Dr. Jasser Al-Zubeidi, clarified that his health condition is stable and reassuring, while the rest of the injured left the hospital after receiving the necessary treatment.
The families of the deceased young Za'id Demasi and the injured Abdul Rahman Tarish expressed their appreciation for this royal Hashemite humanitarian gesture, which reflects the concern of His Majesty the King and His Highness the Crown Prince in following up on the citizens and standing by their side in various circumstances.
The Public Security Directorate had earlier announced that it dealt with a stampeding incident that occurred in the vicinity of the Roman Theater during a public gathering to watch a match of the national team, which resulted in injuries that were transported to the hospitals, while one of the injured later passed away, whereas most of the injured left after receiving the necessary treatment.
