Khaberni - The Palestinian citizen from the West Bank "Talal Al-Eiban" says he is searching for a person from Karak whose name and identity he does not know, after a moving humanitarian incident occurred in 2019, before it was later announced that he had been identified.
Al-Eiban recounted in a post on social media the details of the incident, when his car broke down in the city of Karak and ran out of fuel while heading with his mother to visit his sister.
He explained that a man from the Damour tribe initiated to help him by bringing him fuel and then took care of filling up the car's tank completely, he also bought sweets and gifts for the children, and placed fifty dinars inside a piece of candy he gave to his mother before he left, refusing to give his phone number.
He added that this incident remained etched in his memory, and that he recently saw that man in a dream asking for help, which prompted him to perform Umrah and pray for him at the Kaaba that God relieve his distress if he is alive and have mercy on him if he has passed away.
He urged the man to contact him if the message reaches him, expressing his great gratitude to him and the people of Karak, and he attached to his post a poem of loyalty and appreciation praising the nobility and generosity of the Karakian man.
After the post spread, and thanks to the followers' interaction, the man’s identity was discovered, and his name is Malik Damour (Abu Faisal).
Here is the full post:
Peace be upon you and God's mercy and blessings,
You magnanimous and modest people, people of situations, people of generosity, people of bountifulness,
Allow me to tell you about an incident that happened with me in Karak... and I apologize for the lengthiness,
I'm from the West Bank...
In 2019, I was in Karak, in an area called Al-Thaniyah, out of petrol with my mother heading to visit my sister who married a noble Karak man... A Karak man from the Damour tribe stopped and brought a gallon of petrol.. and he followed us to the gas station and I was surprised at the station; he left his car and had the employee fill up my tank and he paid for it...
Of course, I stayed with him and we talked, and he knew I was going to visit my sister..
Since he was very observant, he knew I was not carrying a gift for my sister and told me to stay at the station and keep an eye on the car... Truly, I thought he was worried about his car, but actually, I waited. And then he came back with a tray of sweets and a large bag filled with children's items... Before he left, the man gave my mother a piece of candy and left while refusing to give me his phone number. When my mother opened the piece of candy, she found fifty dinars in it; I couldn't express my feelings at that moment. Indeed, I walked into my sister's place, head held high....
A few days ago, I dreamt of that man calling out to me telling me that he is in distress...
I made a visa and started my car to Mecca and performed 'Umrah and I stayed more than an hour at the door of the Kaaba praying for him and pleading to God Almighty that he relieves his hardship. And if he is deceased, may God have mercy on him, and if he is alive may God grant him success..
After seven years of absence from this noble situation... I hope if he sees my post he contacts me
He owns a building materials shop in Karak, is bald, white, and stocky,
I ask you for God's sake, O noble one, if you read the post, please contact me,
And I’d like to tell you, God has relieved it, and now I am in Dubai, owning a company, and I’d love to tell you that I performed 'Umrah for you and asked God to accept it....
A thousand greetings to Karak and the people of Karak; really hats off to you...
And this poem is a gift from me to this noble person,
This is a poem expressing loyalty and appreciation for the valor of this noble man from Karak, who represents in his actions the values of the people of Karak known for their generosity and manliness.
On the path of loyalty, I dedicate the verses,
To a noble from my land... from Karak,
A man who saw my distress and freely helped,
And extended a hand of greatness... in tough times,
He didn't know me, and neither did we have,
A prior appointment or shared any dealings,
But he, the "Karakian," has traits,
That refuse the despicable... and rise in status,
So I revealed my troubles, and he said: with you is,
A heart that throbs with manliness has indeed followed,
His stand is a light in the darkness of my troubles,
Never forgotten from my memory, and never perished a day,
O Lord, I have prayed earnestly,
Reward the men for their generosity, O who rules,
Protect him among his family, and elevate his status,
And write for him a sustenance out of patience... interwoven,
A sincere noble does not forget the favor,
He repays debts with his poetry... this is the decree,
