Khaberni - France announced on Wednesday the recording of the first case of Ebola virus on its territory, in a doctor returning from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, which is currently experiencing a widespread epidemic.
A statement from the Ministry of Health said, "We confirm today the recording of the first confirmed case of Ebola virus on French territory," clarifying in response to questions, that the case was recorded on the mainland.
The French Prime Minister, Sebastien Lecornu, is following the situation "closely," according to his office.
