Khaberni - In a new addition to the record of achievements of Amman Arab University students, Shaima Brook from the College of Information Technology/Cybersecurity, won second place in the Short Story Competition within the "Ajlouni Spaces" literary university forum, which was hosted by Ajloun National University, with extensive participation involving more than (60) students from various Jordanian universities, aimed at developing literary and creative talents among university students and encouraging them to express their ideas and societal and humanity issues through purposeful literary writing.
Shaima's distinction came through her short story titled "The Last Deadline," which was praised by the judging panel for its creative ideas and distinctive narrative style that reflected her literary talent and capabilities in the field of creative writing, earning her second place among participants from various Jordanian universities. She was honored during the closing ceremony of the competition in recognition of her achievement and literary excellence. This competition is part of efforts to develop literary and creative talents among university students, encouraging them to express their ideas and societal and humanity issues through purposeful literary writing, ultimately enhancing the role of culture and creativity in building the university student's personality and confirming the abilities and creativity of Amman Arab University students that transcend various academic disciplines. Shaima proved that literary creativity can flourish alongside excellence in technical and scientific fields, reflecting the integration between academic knowledge and creative talent.
