New Israeli Movements and Arrests in Quneitra Southern Syria

Khaberni - The countryside of Quneitra, southwest of Syria, witnessed simultaneous Israeli military movements that included several areas in the southern and central countryside, interspersed with operations of penetration, inspection, and arrests, before withdrawing from some locations.

Local sources reported that an Israeli force comprising more than five military vehicles designated for transporting soldiers penetrated the village of Al-Mashida in the southern countryside of Quneitra, with the nature of the tasks carried out or whether it resulted in any field measures still unclear.

In the central countryside of Quneitra, Israeli forces completely withdrew from Abu Qubais hill after hours of penetration at the site this morning, according to information from the area.

In a related context, an Israeli patrol consisting of four military vehicles entered the village of Ain Ziwan in the southern countryside of Quneitra, where it conducted a raid and search of one of the houses, and detained a resident for several hours before releasing him later, without disclosing the reasons for his detention.

Local sources also mentioned that an Israeli force penetrated the road connecting the village of Al-Muallaqa and the town of Ghadir al-Bustan, and proceeded to arrest a young man, while no additional information was available regarding his identity or the reasons for his arrest.

This escalation comes amid continuing Israeli military movements in southern Syrian areas, where the provinces of Quneitra and Daraa occasionally witness penetrations inside Syrian territories, along with incidents of shooting and scattered targeting in the border areas, reflecting the ongoing security tension in the region.
