Khaberni - Gold prices fell in the "COMEX" American exchange to below the $4100 per ounce level for the first time since June 11, amid selling pressures experienced in the global markets.
Trading data showed that gold futures for August delivery decreased by 2.49% to reach $4097.9 per ounce, the lowest level recorded in about two weeks.
Later, the precious metal recovered some of its losses, trading at $4100.4 per ounce, with a decrease of 2.43%.
This decline occurs amidst investors monitoring global economic and geopolitical developments, along with associated changes in risk appetite and financial market trends.
